We are deeply saddened by the passing of Joan Euler earlier this week.
Joan was a great advocate for the arts and her life-long contributions as a community leader left a lasting impression on all of us. At Centre In The Square, she served as a Chair and Board Member for many years, supporting numerous initiatives and fundraising activities.
She was also an incredible friend and supporter to all of us at The Centre, providing advice and making new connections for every project we undertook. Her knowledge and passion for the arts was moving and her adoration for The Centre and staff was unyielding. Joan had a ‘bigger than life’ presence. Her passing will leave a huge void for all of us and we were all enriched by her enthusiasm for creativity and her engagement with the larger community. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this very difficult time.
