Mark your calendars and gird your loins – The Centre’s Opening Party will be returning on September 12 and 13 with a FREE outdoor extravaganza featuring Australia’s Strange Fruit!
The highlight of the weekend will be Australia’s Strange Fruit, a celebrated touring company based in Melbourne that performs atop fourteen-foot flexible poles, bending and swaying to impossible angles while combining elements of theatre, dance, and circus. The company will present two different sublime works at the Opening Party: Swoon! and The Spheres.
Both days will have lots of fun activities for the entire family including The ToyBox, an interactive kid zone. The ToyBox is a space where kids of all ages can create theatre, train, play and explore.
In addition, there will be buskers, jugglers, face painters, hula hoopers and many more. Bring your family and your friends, grab a bite from the food trucks and join us for some fabulous entertainment!
