Alan Doyle: Where I Belong

As a founding member of Great Big Sea and now a solo artist with a successful first album, Boy on Bridge, Alan Doyle has captivated fans as a creative force to be reckoned with. This talented Newfoundland musician has not only acted in films like Robin Hood and the hit TV show, Republic of Doyle, but has now lent his storytelling skills to a new tale: his own.
Where I Belong a captivating musical memoir about growing up in the tiny fishing village of Petty Harbour, Newfoundland, and then taking to the world stage. Filled with the lore and traditions of the East Coast and told in a voice that is refreshingly candid, Alan Doyle narrates a journey about small-town life, curiosity and creative fulfillment, and about leaving everything he knew behind only to learn that no matter where you go, home will always be with you.
