After last year’s success, we at The Centre are pleased as punch to be partnering with the Kitchener-Waterloo Comedy Festival again to present this year’s Comedy Festival Gala with headliner Shaun Majumder.
You may recognize him as his hilarious alter ego Raj Binder from CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes. This Gemini award winning actor-comedian from Newfoundland has been on other great TV shows like 24, Republic of Doyle, Unhitched, and has hosted Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy festival for many seasons. Shaun is currently the star of the new TV show, Majumder Manor.
His film credits include Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, The Ladies Man, Pushing Tin, and Purpose and most recently, Bob Funk alongside Rachel Leigh Cook and Olympia Dukakis.
The gala event will also feature other great comedians such as Mark Forward, Mary Mack, Nathan MacIntosh, Alingon Mitra and Tim Harmston.
