Don’t know what to do this weekend? We’ve got a few ideas:
Friday, February 20 @ 7PM
THRIFT UNIVERSITY
Thrift on Kent
Agnes from KW Artz Lab will walk you through the steps of upcycling paperback books into an apple. This make and take project requires fine motor skills and the extensive use of an exacto knife, all participants must be over the age of 16.
Saturday, February 21 @ 12PM
BUILD A BUTT
The Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery
It’s a fun, free event – come out and create a “butt” out of clay so you can enter the contest. The Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery is proud to support the Build A Butt Contest to help raise awareness of colorectal cancer screening. Colorectal cancer is a very serious disease, and it’s not a topic that people like to talk about. Limited seats available and light refreshments will be served.
February 21-22

The free festival is open to everyone – Come out to learn to juggle, or learn some new tricks! The headliners for the show this year are Bekka Rose and David Louch of the Hand Me Down Circus. There will be a variety of other acts, including dancing, juggling, and acrobatics.
