Weekend Arts Around Town (April 3-6)

Don’t know what to do this long weekend? If you’re not heading to The Centre for St. Matthew Passion, we’ve got a few “egg-citing” ideas:
Egg Hunts:
April 3-6
Waterloo Region Museum
Become a detective and search for egg riddles throughout the museum! Join the staff for “egg-tastic” fun science “eggs-periments” twice each day, with demonstrations and hands-on activities for the whole family.
Saturday, April 4 @ 8.30AM
Breslau Community Centre
Breakfast will be at the Breslau Community Centre and will include pancakes, sausage, fruit, and a drink, followed by the egg hunt at the Memorial Park.

EASTER EXTRAVANGANZA! (pictured above)
Joseph Schneider Haus
Sample some traditional Easter cheese and help the Schneiders scratch decorate Pennsylvania-German designs onto naturally dyed Easter Eggs.

EASTER BUNNY BREAKFAST
Kitchener Market
Join the folks at the Kitchener Market for a breakfast with the Easter Bunny – there will be food, fun, treats, games and crafts!

TRADITIONAL EGG DYEING & ROLLING
McDougall Cottage
See how it was done in the good ‘ol days and try your hand at traditional egg dyeing and rolling fun. Easter treats for all kids who stop by.
