After numerous performances as a sideman in ensembles over the past several years at the Jazz Room, this long awaited appearance features John on keyboard at center stage. He will be showcasing original compositions and arrangements in which he attempts to capture the stylistic character of the great composers of jazz, ranging from master writers such as Jelly Roll Morton, Duke Ellington and Horace Silver to more current artists such as John Medeski and Jeff Beck.
