Weekend Arts Around Town (June 26-28)

Don’t know what to do this weekend? If you’re not heading to The Centre for Charley Pride we’ve got a few ideas:
Friday, June 26
FROM EACH SIDE OF THE GRAND EXHIBIT
Kitchener Public Library – Central
This month-long exhibit tells the story of the Six Nations of the Grand River and the Haldimand Treaty of 1784. The treaty covers lands for six miles on each side of the Grand River from Lake Erie to its source, including lands in Kitchener-Waterloo. Drop in find the exhibit on the upper level at Central Library.
Event runs until June 30.

SCHOOL’S OUT KW!
Chicopee Ski & Summer Resort
Kick the summer off right! Join Centre In The Square at Chicopee Ski & Summer Resort for School’s Out KW! We will have a booth set up with a draw to win a pair of tickets to Illusionist Darcy Oake: Edge Of Reality. Enjoy live bands, family activities, food trucks and more! Proceeds from this fundraising event will send local kids to a one week camp at Chicopee Ski & Summer Resort.

WALK THE TALK: ARCHITECTURAL WALKING TOUR
Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery
Learn all about your area during a guided outdoor walking tour of the Kitchener core area. This walking tour will reveal the original modifications of the natural topography and trace the layers of urban life building up to the present day. Tours begin at the Gallery.
