Husband and wife Luke Doucet and Melissa McClelland were both established and successful singer-songwriters, before and after they married in 2006. In 2011, the musical duo took the leap and decided to put their solo careers on hold when they joined in musical marriage to create folk roots group, Whitehorse.
Whitehorse’s story has been told as two acclaimed musicians joining forces under one new name. The pair became a force on the Canadian music scene with the release of their self-titled debut album in 2011.
The duo’s musical and romantic chemistry is evident to anyone listening to their music or watching their intimate live performances.
