Next To Normal
The Registry Theatre
JM Drama brings to you this summer Next to Normal. A thrilling rock musical about a family that is anything but normal and yet try at all cost to maintain their ordinary facade. The show deals heavily with the theme of mental illness; as well as loss, grief, ethics and other socio-cultural issues. Next to Normal features a powerful tony award winning rock score like no other and a Pulitzer award winning script.
Performances run August 6-8 and 13-15 at 7.30PM.

Kitchener Blues Festival 
Downtown Kitchener
The TD Kitchener Blues Festival, one of Canada’s largest Blues Festivals returns to downtown Kitchener to celebrate its 15thAnniversary.
This mostly free admission festival includes multiple stages throughout the downtown core. In addition, two ticketed concerts will be held on Thursday, August 6 and Friday, August 7 in Victoria Park.
Make sure you come by the BIA Tent Stage and visit Centre In The Square’s booth!
Saturday, August 8
Baden Corn Festival 
Charles Street, Baden
The Baden Corn Festival is an annual summer event highlighting local food producers and restaurants, as well as celebrating the Township’s agricultural heritage. Residents and tourists alike will enjoy a wide variety of activities throughout the day, culminating in a corn roast supper.
This food festival has dozens of food vendors, heritage displays, kids’ activities, entertainment, and a corn roast supper. At the end of the day, attend the outdoor dance, featuring local bands, and live Celtic Rock band Fiddlestix!
