Weekend Arts Around Town (October 30 – November 1)

Don’t know what to do this weekend? If you’re not heading to The Centre for Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony’s Orion Plays Mozart And Haydn performances on Friday and Saturday, we’ve got a few ideas:
Friday, October 30 @ 5.30PM – 8PM
Halloween Party
Waterloo Region Museum
The Waterloo Region Museum is hosting a Halloween Party and you’re invited, so be sure to come wearing your scariest Halloween costume! Enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides through the lantern lit historic village and see what tricks you’ll need to do and what games you’ll have to play to get a treat! Scary boo crafts and activities in the museum building will guarantee fun for everyone.
The Halloween Party is appropriate for children up to the age of 8 years old and must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is $5 per child plus taxes, accompanying adult is FREE.

Make sure you stop by our CentreStage Lounge to listen to Machines of Loving Grace. Three music producers play improvised live deep dance music using synthesizers, samplers, sequencers and various effects. Music to nurture our hearts and heads in the age of technology
Ambient music kicks things off at 9pm, followed by live performances from 10pm until 2am.
