Weekend Arts Around Town (December 4-6)

Don’t know what to do this weekend? If you’re not heading to The Centre tonight for Trailer Park Boys: Dear Santa Claus, Go F#ck Yourself Tour, we’ve got a few ideas:
December 4 – 8
Charles Dickens Writes A Christmas Carol
Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts
Head on over to the Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts to experience the magical journey into Victorian England, with beautiful Christmas music along the way. In this full production, stage adaptation of one of the most popular books of the English language, witness the struggles and obstacles faced by Charles Dickens in his writing of this classic novel.  Using only the power of his imagination, and the inspiration gleaned from a small choir of wandering carolers, watch the story of the book unfold and find out why a Christmas Ghost-story was written in the first place.
Featuring live carolers, state of the art projections by Rob Ring and an amazing cast of 19, this promises to be a seasonal favourite for years to come!
December 4-6
Charlotte’s Web
The Registry Theatre
Adapted by Joseph Robinette and based on the book by E.B White, this play recreates the book in a thrilling and utterly practical theatrical presentation.
There will be an art activity in the lobby before the performance brought to you by the KW Art Gallery. Meet the actors after the show and get your program autographed!
Sunday, December 6 @ 1PM – 1.45 PM
