Celtic Thunder, the widely successful music group from Ireland, just announced their show Legacy on the Today Show, have a look! They’ll be stopping at The Centre on September 3 as part of a 75-city North American tour.
Since 2007, audiences around the world can’t seem to get enough of the group’s beautiful vocal harmonies and eclectic music styles. Celtic Thunder’s diverse repertoire includes traditional Irish and folk music, adult contemporary, rock, and classical crossover.
 Legacy presents many of the best-loved numbers from the group’s past tours. Songs include the group’s big opening number “Heartland,” crowd-pleasing favourites like “Raggle Taggle Gypsy,” “Galway Girl” and “A Place in the Choir,” and rousing anthems “Caledonia” and “Ireland’s Call.”
Celtic Thunder has performed nearly 800 shows over nine tours to millions of fans. By the end of 2016, Celtic Thunder will have toured North America coast to coast 11 times and Australia four times. BILLBOARD named them Top World Music Artist, Top World Music Imprint, and Top World Album in 2008, 2009, and 2011.
