Don’t know what to do this weekend? If you’re not heading to The Centre this weekend for the sold-out Trews: Acoustic Tour performance this Friday or Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony’s KWS Concerto Celebration this Saturday, we got a few ideas:

This five piece band gives their audiences the highest level of musicianship and energy.

The Brush Off Junior Edition
THEMUSEUM
Twenty artists between the ages of 14 and 19 will compete in three rounds of a friendly live-painting competition this Saturday. Attendee’s votes determine who advances in each round, and who eventually wins The Brush Off Junior.
There will be thirty-five original works of art produced during the night that will be available to bid on.

Shrek: The Musical
Eastwood Collegiate Institute, Auditorium
Eastwood Collegiate Institute presents Shrek: The Musical this weekend! Based on the award-winning 2001 Dreamworks animated film, Shrek, the musical Shrek: The Musical brings together some 75 performers and more than 100 students and staff working behind the scenes to mount the lively retelling of the popular contemporary fairy-tale book and animated movie.
