New Block of Programming Announced

As another year of programming winds down Centre In The Square is thrilled to announce the first block of programming coming in 2016/17. As the largest and busiest Performing Arts Centre in the region, The Centre prides itself on bringing exciting and industry leading content to the area. In total, over 25 shows have been announced in the last month.
Highlighted in this first block of programming is Rodriguez; you will likely know him from the 2012 Oscar award-winning documentary, Searching for Sugar Man. National Geographic Live is bringing their Explorer Series to Kitchener, making Centre In The Square only the third Performing Arts Centre in Canada to present this series. With four world-renowned speakers in total, this series will captivate and inspire all ages.
A number of audience favourites are returning to The Centre, including Donovan Woods who opened for Matt Andersen in March, 2016. Woods recently announced he’s signed a new publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music. He has also recently come out with a new album, Hard Settle, Ain’t Troubled.  Tenor singer, Colm Wilkinson will be returning for the first time since 2007, and Max & Ruby will return with The Nutcracker Suite. Also set to make its Centre Debut is America’s Best Dance Crew winners, I.AM.ME. Five Kid’s Shows in our Studio Theatre have been also been announced, providing affordable entertainment for every age group!
