Announcing Classic Albums Live for 2017/18

Classics Album Live Announces Their New Season
CCR, Led Zeppelin, and Rush – note for note, cut for cut

Thursday, October 26 @ 8PM CCR: Chronicles
Creedence Clearwater Revival released 20 of their top hits on one album: Chronicle, Vol. 1. It included “Proud Mary,” “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?,” “Susie Q,” and “Someday Never Comes.”

Thursday, February 22 @ 8PM Led Zeppelin: I
This was Led Zeppelin’s debut album. Did you know that Rolling Stone didn’t like it too much when it first came out? In a list of 10 classic albums the iconic magazine originally dissed, Led Zeppelin’s debut album came in at #9, between The Jimi Hendrix Experience’s Are You Experienced (#10) and Black Sabbath’s eponymous album from 1970 (#8).
 Thursday, April 19 @ 8PM Rush: 2112
2112 was the fourth studio album by the Canadian rock band Rush. Released in 1976, it features the seven-part title suite composed by Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, with lyrics written by Neil Peart telling a dystopian story set in the year 2112. Hear this iconic Canadian album “Note for note. Cut for cut”.
We’re running a special offer for audience members who buy tickets to all three concerts: you’ll receive a free pair of tickets to the season-opening CCR: Chroncles show*! Rush to get your tickets to this series: it’ll go down in the chronicles of Classic Albums Live seasons as one of the best. (We know, that was a groaner. But the shows will still be amazing.)
