Kingsley Leggs is a Broadway regular. Sharon Riley’s Faith Chorale was the first Canadian gospel group to sign an international contract. Danny Zolli has played both Jesus and Judas in 25 different productions of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg for the singers starring in World Rock Symphony Orchestra’s Britain Rocks. We’ve got highlights from some of the cast. Check ‘em out!
Kingsley Leggs
Kingsley is a veteran of Broadway, where he performed in Sister Act and Miss Saigon. Perhaps the most significant achievement of his career was originating the role of Mister, the abusive husband and antagonist, in Oprah Winfrey’s Broadway show, The Color Purple.
Kingsley’s voice can be heard on the Broadway Cast Album of The Color Purple and on the soundtrack for An American Victory, a musical about how the US went to war against sea pirates in the Mediterranean in the first decade of the 1800s.

Sharon Riley
The milestone of being Canada’s first gospel group to sign an international contract is amplified by the long list of awards and achievements Sharon Riley and her gospel choir, Faith Chorale, have amassed in over a decade of ground-breaking work. They appeared in the blockbuster film The Blues Brothers 2000 and on the Grammy Award-nominated soundtrack alongside the likes of Aretha Franklin, Erykah Badu, James Brown and Eric Clapton. In addition, they garnered an additional Grammy nomination for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals and won the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Folk Song for a project they worked on with Van Morrison.
Sharon Riley & Faith Chorale were also selected—out of thousands of choirs—to perform in XXX: The Return of Xander Cage. Catch this fun moment with Vin Diesel, where Vin finally gets to try singing in a gospel choir.

Danny Zolli
Danny is best known for his monumental number of performances starring as Jesus & Judas in more than 25 productions (including Broadway & 6 National/International Tours) of the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice classic Jesus Christ Superstar.

Nationally and Internationally, Danny has starred as Ché in Evita, Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Arbiter in Chess, and has many, many more credits than we have space to list. He has performed with such luminaries as opera legend José Carreras, Diana Ross, Carl Anderson, The Gipsy Kings, Ted Neeley, Dennis DeYoung (STYX), Linda Eder…you get the point. The list also goes on and on.
